I have been the owner and General Manager of a reasonably sucessful small contracting business for a number of years. The reason why I contracted Leah to assist me was because of my age, I had intended to draw back and form a succession plan. We first became aware of Leah Baldwin in the middle of 2019. We were looking for some business coaching at the time. We did a bit of homework on Action Coach and decided we wanted to try them out. The structure at first seemed a bit bizarre to us, but the more time we spend on it the more familiar we got with it. The biggest impact it had on our business was it allowed us to grow our staff and let them do the day to day running and that let us focus more on growing our business. It allowed us to delegate jobs and stand back and let them team grow.

It allowed us to do many team building exercises which have helped us identify the strengths and weaknesses of our team. It has allowed us to see that we don’t need to be there 24/7, that we can now have a balanced life. It made us step back and let our team make decisions and it’s been pretty cool watching them do this. Our team is enjoying the challenge of making decisions. We have achieved a lot in a short space of time with the help of Action Coach. We set some business and personnel goals which have all been achieved. Finally, it was nice to have someone to talk to that had experience in our situation. It was great to get new ideas and have someone to challenge what we were doing and why.
